Where to start – Limit Hold’em
Once you receive your $25 free bankroll from YourPokerCash it is time to decide what games to play. We suggest start with Limit Texas Hold’em. At Cake Poker the lowest limit offered is $.05/$.10 which is perfect for your bankroll size. Take some time to get used to the software and the other players at this limit. When you have doubled your bankroll, either from bonus, winnings or a combination or the two, then you are ready to move up to $.10/$.20. If you move up in limits too soon you run the risk of losing your entire bankroll!
Where to Start – No Limit Hold’em
Cake Poker does not offer a no limit level that is safe for a $25 bankroll. The lowest limit offered is $.05/$.10. To play this limit with a full stack you would need $300. Even buying in with short stacks would require $40. We highly recommend staying with Limit Hold’em until your bankroll is $50 or more and even then we suggest not buying into any table for more than 10% of your bankroll.
